[FFVI:The Day After Part13]

Okay

I think this series needs to be wrapped up. You're still improving, the action needs to be faster paced. But its definately better every time. Maybe think about wrapping this one up and focusing on a new series with a fresh start. That way you can raise the bar a bit. Lots of sprite competition out there these days, interesting times, sprite flicks were dead just half a year ago. Keep at it.

Care to explain that? How does not making a movie lowers the significance of someone's opinion? You're being judged on the entertainment value of something not how HARD it was to make or how much WORK went into it. You should really value the opinion of those who DON'T make movies more because they'll give the most unbiased opinions solely based on entertainment value since they don't know what kind of effort goes into these.

ummm, not really. I just dont think its fair when people do that. If they know how much work was really put into making a movie, then they would vote higher obviously. If they don't know, they wouldnt give a shit and blam it! DUH!

Though its just a mix. I don't see how a mix would make top 1-5, let alone top 50. Still cool though, but its just a mix, go story, impressive visual effects, animations, or entertaining games are what make top 50. What do I know though, I'm just one of the viewers.

I can appreciate a nice piece of work. Well done. Though these depressed suicidal teen flicks seem to be the latest trend on NewGrounds. I still like to watch them. I've never been depressed myself; I've had a good and privileged, yet challenging life. But you can't expect life to be a bed of roses all the time; I guess some of us have the coping skills to avoid depression. Its the challenging that keep things interesting, yah just got to step up when they front you. For those whom don't I pray. Good work though, nice piece of art. Poetic and artistic.

Just keep at er, not to much improvement over the last one but its getting there, if you need sprites why don't you just rip them off an emulator? Its how I do it. Same with sounds and music.

Also when you're replying to people's reviews don't attack them because of their scores on newgrounds... [its tacky]. Just because you're score is better still doesn't make your flash animations good (though I think it is, I'm just saying this to make a point if you can understand the prespective I'm trying to make you see things at). They're opinion is not less valid than the next since they're reviewing you as VIEWERS based on your entertainment value which takes many things into consideration, they are not reviewing as fellow flash animators. You don't have to be good at flash to hold a valid opinion. Now I'm just trying to make a point so I hope you haven't interpreted anything wrong and have become offended. Personally I find your animations to be a cut above the average sprite flash. You've got alot more potential so keep at it, you're getting better with every submission.

I tried ripping the sprites from an emulator but I get that white stuff in the backround. Maybe I'm doing it wrong...

And I only do that score thing cuz they say stuff like "the only reason people like this is because it's FF" or they just diss the movie instead of reviewing it.

But I know that you know talent when you see it, so I'll take your words to heart. Heck, you made one of the best FF parodies of all time! Thanks for the review, I'll be getting that 10 soon ;)

It has to bee "alright" for you to give it a 7. I'm not realy sure why you composed a long *** review giving average constructive criticism. I don't need to rip off "sprites" off emulators just to make good backgrounds or humans. I appreciate that you like my flashes and I will continue to submit them.

Improving still, good.

Its been awhile since I've submit anything, but I think there's boxes where you can define the movie's or window's dimensions. Your movies are fairly small, try increasing the dimensions size. The frame will resize everything accordingly.

-Cyans wish should have been for his family to be alive again insted of Lola

-Fights have improved alot, though still lacking a bit quality wise, compaired to your other stuff this is a huge improvement. A little more practice and you won't even need my help.

-Why is Shadow evil, he was going to repent his sins at the end of the game. Oh well, guess he needed to be evil for the plot.

Keep at it, I know you'd like a 10, but I know you can do so much better so we'll save that 10 for your top quality stuff. How many more episodes? I'll vote 5 for the other thing though.

But the way you do it....you are untouchable! Believe me, I'll still need your help :)

And Shadow being evil is explained in part 5 and he doesn't show up and kill Gau till part 8. He said "when I said I wanted to start over, I meant it". And about Cyan wishing for his family to be alive...I was gonna do that, but I have a plot twist that will work out (and it will also be very sad, he's gonna chose to be with his family).

I don't know how many more episodes there will be...it might already be drawing to a close. But I'm looking forward to your battle scenes! People have already said with my story and your battles, it will be an instant classic :)

Its not bad, you put good effort into it

You could make some pretty good stuff, but you're really lacking in cinematic sequences. Its very plain. Your strength seems more to be story writing rather than design and style. Maybe I can help you out sometime. I made a little FF6 sprite flash or two myself, my second one had very positive feed back for its fight scenes. Though I don't have time to do a full animation myself anymore maybe I could do a fight scene or two for you in a few months when I have time. Take a look at my work if you want. Its in the final fantasy section but you'd find it in seconds by searching 'Final Fantasy Vball' in the newgrounds search, it'll be in the list. If you like what you see, leave a reply and a way to contact you. You got potential and drive, and you'll get better as everyone gets made so keep at it.

Holy crap, I know who you are! I've watched that Vball one before and it's awesome! And I have also seen Gau's Treasure Hunt, it was very good! And yes, my strong point is definately story.
